What a fascinating day! I trust you all had a wonderful time -- I did.
And it was great meeting everyone! Thank you kindly for allowing me to shoot
your photos. They turned out really nice. I hope you like them!
No. You DO NOT have to pay. I will not charge you to download photos that I took during opening day. Why? Because I had a great time meeting everyone. It was totally fun -- and I want you to have your photos so you can post them to your Facebook or share them with your friends and family. So, savor the memories and be happy!
I can't believe how many people wanted to pay me to take their photo. Thank you, but your currency was no good that day. If you would like prints or if you would like your photos framed, or put on a coffee mug, mousepad, or something like that, you can. I included instructions in the email that you'll get when you fill out the form to the right. If you simply want to donate, check out my Amazon Wish list. :)
:) First of all, thank you again for giving me your contact info and thank you even more for the conversation. Whether you want to hire me, connect with me socially, or just be friends -- I'm here. Thank you so much -- much appreciated.

I was not there to photograph horses. I take photos of people. This day is for the ladies. They spend so much time getting all decked out ... they looked so spectacular.
Sorry. See my answer above.
Send me an email with a link to the photo. I'll do what I can to help. :)
I used a Nikon D90 with an 18-105mm lens (The 50mm would have been nice to have). As for settings, believe it or not, most of the day I had it set to auto. Why? Well, why complicate things? The day was so fast paced that I didnt have time to mess around and play with all the settings -- it was "social hour" all day. Plus the lighting changed quite drastically depending on where I was at the time. Note: I don't usually shoot on auto. :)
Thanks for asking. I'm available for hire internationally. Send me an email and we'll talk.
No. Like I told many of you when you asked, this is a really cool, fun, challenging and fulfilling hobby for me -- right now anyway. It's another creative outlet for me -- it's passionate. I shoot just about everyday. For my day job, I run a rapidly growing technology company with offices in the United States and in India, staffed by 25 software architects and developers. We developed and sell the premier social networking & business collaboration platform. There is no technology that is beyond our capability.
